Things have spiraled down to a deep end for the Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green. Following a 5-game suspension for a violent act on the court, the star again engaged in an ugly spat. And this time, the league pulled out an indefinite suspension on him. Meanwhile, Stephen Curry reflected on DrayMagic after the nasty Rudy Gobert incident.
It isn’t a tough time only for Green but for the Dubs as a whole. Following a great 5-game winning streak start to the season, it has only been a fall from a steep slope. The team currently stands in the 11th seed of the Western Conference with a 10-13 record. One of the major reasons behind this downtime is the irregularities in the team’s lineup, as revealed by Steph himself once.

Over the years, Draymond Green has developed a reputation for his aggressive nature on the court. He has been ejected 19 times in his career, and three times already this season. However, the last ejection during the game against the Phoenix Suns could be costly for the star. Following the ejection for his violent act against Suns star Jusuf Nurkic, the league has suspended Green indefinitely.
Importantly, the 33-year-old showed remorse and apologized for his actions on the court. Hours after his apology, the franchise leader Stephen Curry opened up on the issue for the first time.
Steph initially reflected on his conversation with Green after the Rudy Gobert incident, where he wrapped his hand around the Minnesota Timberwolves star. He said, “I was like, I worry less about what you did, but more the why and how it happened,” according to Ramona Shelburne, a senior ESPN writer.
Green said he talked about the incident with Gobert in depth with Stephen Curry.
"That's the conversation we had," Curry told ESPN. "I was like, 'I worry less about what you did, but more the why and how it happened.'
