The Phoenix Suns have given an ambivalent performance so far ever since the regular season kicked off. In the four games that they have played so far, they have won 2 and lost 2, the most recent one being the tight 115-114 loss against the Spurs. However, what is more concerning is the uncertainty revolving around the Suns’ Devin Booker who has been out ever since an ankle injury during the season opener. It is also for the shooting guard, Bradley Beal, who hasn’t even graced the court in any of the regular season games.
In fact, Beal’s consistent back issues have caused concern over his return to the court, and that dream seems to be getting farther every minute. The Suns, who do not have a Championship title to their name so far, might be bitting adieu to that dream this season as well. After their loss against the Spurs, ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith is afraid that if Bradley Beal does not make a comeback, the Suns’ might be in big trouble.

Kevin Durant has been shouldering the entire team ever since the season commenced, and it is about time that he gets some backup on the court. The Suns are walking on thin ice, leaving Durant all by himself on the court, according to Stephen A. During the Suns’ season debut game against the Warriors, Booker topped the scoring charts for the team with 32 points. However, Beal’s absence isn’t any comfort for the team or the fans.
“I’m a big Bradley Beal fan, but since 2019 he’s missed about 105 of the last 312 games. … I’m starting to get really, really concerned. I need to see this guy on the court.”

Stephen A. says about Beal, “I’m a big Bradley Beal fan, but since 2019 he’s missed about 105 of the last 312 games. He’s missed about 32 games last year. He’s only played 90 games in the last two seasons, for crying out loud. Now they’re talking about back injuries and they don’t know when he’ll be back. I’m starting to get really, really concerned. I need to see this guy on the court.”
As Stephen A. points out, Beal has been inconsistent in his appearances even before the season started. He was dealing with a left knee soreness when he was with the Washington Wizards.
The trio powerhouse is now down to Kevin Durant
Beal was traded to the Suns during the offseason with the hopes of pairing him with Booker and Durant. This was a ray of sunshine for the fans, who were hoping that the trio would bring them their first-ever Championship. But Beal’s constant absence on the court as well as the uncertainty regarding his return has made the fans quite jumpy.

Durant has been carrying the team so far, and it is about time that Beal gets back on the hardwood. Of course, his health is most important, but the fans and the team alike are hungry for the win, and taking time out during such a crucial moment might cost the Suns a title in the long run.
He needs to get back in the game and show the fans what they are missing out on.
