Rappers Rick Ross and Meek Mill’s reunion is enough to rekindle the millennial rap fans’ thriving hearts. The duo dropped a single on Friday, titled after one of the most explosive duos of the Los Angeles Lakers franchise, Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal, leaving the fans in utter disbelief. Moreover, NBA superstar LeBron James also joined the fans along with Dr. Shaq to celebrate the rapper’s reunion. Above all, Ross and Mill also announced their upcoming album, Too Good to Be True. 

Last year, Meek Mill took to his X (formerly known as Twitter) and opened up about the alleged reason behind his separation from Rick Ross and Roddy Ricch, according to Complex. Meek wrote, “If I didn’t have millions, I’d prolly do something crazy,” in his tweet. The Philadelphia-based rapper accused Atlantic Records of separating them. Nevertheless, the duo is finally back.

On Friday, the rapper duo Ross and Mill sat down for an interview ahead of their album launch. The duo addressed a lot about their reunion and teased the audience with their upcoming album. Ross added, “We got to build a brand. The fans could get accustomed to that pace.” Meanwhile, fans had a field day, celebrating the artists.

4x NBA Champion LeBron James took to his Instagram and shared a couple of stories on the reunion. James shared a post called them ‘Unstoppable duo’ and also wrote, “@richforever @meekmill Dynamic Duo back!!,” with a flurry of fire emojis. In the second story, he shared a short video clip from the ‘Shaq & Kobe’ song from Mill’s IG post. Along with it, he wrote, “Body Bags!!!!!!!”

Furthermore, the man himself, Shaquille O’Neal, also celebrated the song. The 51-year-old shared Rick Ross’ video post on his IG stories.

The celebration didn’t stop there, NBA world and music fans swarmed the comments to celebrate the rappers’ reunion.

NBA stars fans go gaga over the Shaq & Kobe song

Cleveland Cavaliers franchise superstar Donovan Mitchell dropped fire emojis under Meek Mill’s post. Following him, Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young took to the comments and wrote, “Anotha one,” again with a lot of fire emojis.

Interestingly, LA Clippers star Marcus Morris compared the song to a layup in the comments. Marcus wrote, “Sh*t a lay up.”

Apart from them, several stars from the music world and fans also flooded the comments in awe. Notably, this isn’t the first instance where these rappers were affiliated with NBA stars. Once, Meek Mill partied alongside Kyle Kuzma.
