It’s a rare occurrence, especially in the world of sports, for children to take an interest in their parents’ profession and almost excel at the same level as they once did. Lakers star LeBron James found the exception in his eldest son, as 19-year-old Bronny James is continuing to rise steadily through the ranks and make a mark for himself in professional basketball. While his entry into the NBA remains a topic of speculation, the basketball legend continues to make it clear to all his fans that he won’t back away from providing unconditional support to his son.

A few hours ago, basketball photographer Cameron Look published a new series of photos on his social media account. They captured Bronny James, clad in his USC Trojans basketball ensemble, at different moments during varying basketball games. Most of them featured the 19-year-old leaping high and delivering the ball through the hoop, while others captured him doing his best to deliver a memorable performance on the basketball court.

How each picture captured the essence of the college player made the post worthy enough to get the attention of King James. Along with liking the same, he uploaded the post on his story to be viewed by his 159 million followers. LeBron made use of the opportunity to send some heartfelt advice to his son. He wrote a caption alongside the story that read: “Stay Low and Keep Firing Young” accompanied by a ‘King’ emoji.

Bronny James’ possible entry into the NBA has been a topic of discussion amongst basketball enthusiasts for quite some time now. LeBron himself has reportedly said on various occasions that he would like nothing more than to team up with his son for a few games before officially announcing his retirement. With the young star being continuously under a microscopic view, many people, including ESPN anchor Stephen A Smith, question whether having the Los Angeles Lakers star as a father puts Bronny at a disadvantage.

“This is all his fault—all of it,” said Smith during the latest segment of ‘First Take’. “When we get to Bronny James, that kid has done nothing but work hard and try to get on this game and all of this other stuff. Any attention that he’s warranted has been because of his daddy.”

Smith’s comments make it seem as if LeBron has, in a way, ‘ruined’ Bronny. What are your thoughts on the same? Let us know in the comments down below.
