LeBron James has been around in the NBA for as long as one can remember. Ever since his draft in 2003, he has been a dominant force in the league. Apart from his on-court skills, Bron’s legacy will also always be highlighted by his collection of Nike basketball shoes. He has established multiple collaborations across a range of collections, to bring basketball shoes with unmatched performance to the fans.

So when it comes to shoes, it is not every day that one impresses LeBron James. This time, it was one of his childhood friends who took the King by surprise. LeBron’s friendship with Romeo

King James met Travis in high school, where they were part of the elite team that rose to fame. They played together for the St. Vincent-St. Mary high school in Akron for four years, and remain good friends to this day. They also starred alongside each other in the 2008 documentary film ‘More Than a Game‘.

After graduation, Travis enrolled in the University of Akron, where he became a star player. As a senior, he was also named the Mid-American Conference Player of the Year. Then followed his long professional basketball career, although he never played in the NBA. However, this has never gotten in the way of the strong bond that he still shares with LeBron.
