Amid the trade drama in the Lakers nation, LeBron James showcased one of his prized collections to his 159 million followers. Following the LA side’s disappointing exit from the postseason, the superstar has taken the social media. James constantly updated his fans about his life, off the court. Tonight, he displayed his wine collection to the fans while he conveniently ditched his own $1.7 million liquor brand, Lobos 1707.

King James took to his Instagram stories and shared a video of uncorked wine bottles in a dimly lit room, decorated with candlelight and light music in the background. The 4x NBA Champion seemed to be involved in the moment, as he wrote, “What a time to be alive,” in the caption.

Apart from being a basketball genius on the court, LeBron James has repeatedly proved that he is a business mogul time and again. One of his successful business moves was the superstar’s entry into the liquor industry. In 2020, James, who invested in Lobos 1707, officially launched the Tequila brand into the market.

Since its inception, the brand turned into a money-making machine for the superstar, as it has generated $1.7 million in revenue till now. Recently, the crew expanded their business overseas, opening a store in London. James, who is a lover of quality drinks, said, “Lobos 1707 is about celebrating the strength of the group and bringing people together. It’s about shared passion and values. I love sipping Tequila with my friends, and we want a brand that speaks to us.”

While James shared much love toward his own Tequila brand, he surprised us with his latest story, appreciating wine from different brands. Moreover, it only reflected James’ love for Vin de Table at the end of the day. At the same time, the superstar seemed to be more relaxed than his fans amidst his uncertain future with the LA Lakers.

The Lakers ended their postseason in the first round with a 1-4 record against the Denver Nuggets. The experts and fans listed out of plenty of reasons for the loss. Moreover, several rumors stated that LeBron James would not sign the player option and would look to move out of the franchise in the off-season. At the same time, several trade rumors also stated the Lakers’ interest in roping in Donovan Mitchell, and Trae Young, with a possible replacement for D’Angelo Russell

Recently, the former Lakers star Kyle Kuzma also came into the picture as a possible replacement for Rui Hachimura.
