The upcoming NBA Playoffs will be pivotal for LeBron James. It’s his chance to win his 5th ring and tie the tally of legends like Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, and the like. But what if we told you that something equally as important just went down for his son? It’s something that LeBron has never done. But that’s not all—his wife also had an important announcement, but we’ll get to that.

First, let’s talk about his son and his huge announcement. When we say LeBron’s son, no, we’re not talking about Bronny James. He just wrapped up his G League season, averaging an impressive 21.9 points per game and nearly 2 steals per game. Today, we are actually here to talk about Bronny’s little brother, Bryce James. It seems LeBron’s teenage son has decided where he’ll play college ball.

Bryce James is the latest member of the Arizona Wildcats men’s basketball team. The youngest son of LeBron James has committed to playing for the University of Arizona in Tucson following his high school graduation. “What’s going on, Wildcat nation? Can’t wait to get there and start working,” said Bryce James in a joint Instagram post with the University of Arizona.

With this move, Bryce joins an illustrious set of names who’ve played for the Wildcats in the past. Who exactly? Well, do the names of Gilbert Arenas, Lauri Markannen, Bennedict Mathurin, and Aaron Gordon ring any bells?

Well, they’re just some of the players who’ve gone on to join the NBA after playing for the Arizona Wildcats. Moreover, if Bryce James ends up playing in Arizona for all 4 years and wins an NCAA tournament, then he’ll be the only person in the James family to do so.

You see, Bron was recruited straight out of high school. Likewise, Bronny joined the NBA after his freshman year to form the NBA’s first father-son duo with LeBron. So Bryce has a shot at making history with this move.

Nonetheless, as we alluded to earlier, it’s not just Bryce who’s making big moves in the world. His mother, Savannah James, also made quite an announcement that got her fans buzzing.
