What allowed Ja Morant to successfully posterize Victor Wembanyama was his amazing speed. Ja caught Wemby by surprise with a quick crossover. That left the 7’5 rookie wrong-footed, and he could not recover to block the shot. Ja soared over Wemby to finish the easy slam. He also put some extra emphasis on the dunk by slamming the backboard while coming down.

The Grizzlies win another game with Morant
Ja Morant will be happy to posterize Victor Wembanyama and get another win for his team on the same night. He led the Grizzlies to their 11th win of the season after dominating the Spurs 106-98. Ja led the game in scoring with 26 points, 10 assists and 5 rebounds. He also got a lot of support from his teammates as four other Grizzlies players scored in double digits. Meanwhile, no one from the Spurs roster scored more than 20 points.
The Grizzlies are 5-2 with Morant in the line-up. He has played like a superstar since his return, averaging 25.2 points, 7.8 assists, and 5 rebounds.
