The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady was quite the event. Widely considered as one of the greatest quarterbacks in the NFL, Tom Brady had no qualms taking the hits left, right, center, and wide open. After all, he did sign up for it. Kevin Hart kicked off the festivities. When you have top comedians of the country and sports figures gang up on you to deliver the biggest roast of the season, it will undoubtedly involve sensitive topics. Well, we can say that Brady was a good sport throughout the show. Almost.
Anyway, the 7x Super Bowl champion will need some time to rest after last night, surely! Following this, Rich Eisen of The Rich Eisen Show had an interesting question for ESPN analyst Brian Windhorst. Tom Brady was the NFL’s legend. But what about the NBA? When Eisen posed this question to Windhorst, the latter almost looked like a kid in a candy store.
Of course, he collected himself together pretty fast and replied, ” I don’t think I’d be stunned if LeBron did.” As he was filing through the list in his mind, Rich queried if the greatest NBA legend, Michael Jordan, would ever take the roast seat. Brian looked as though he was asked to commit treason against the country. “Oh, God! No! Are you kidding me? It’d be a fistfight!” he clarified as Eisen blew up with laughter.

But he did have a candidate who would be a perfect fit! “Steph, because Steph is so well-liked and it would all be sort of good-natured,” Windhorst explained his choice. No matter how well-liked Stephen Curry is, there is no doubt that someone will bring Ayesha and her story about the 4x champion’s love for her feet!
Anybody who knows anything about one of the greatest basketball legends ever will admit that niceties weren’t exactly Jordan’s greatest attribute. If we were to go off on every other account of MJ being mean, it would take a whole lot more space and time. So, for now, let’s just stick to one instance of ‘His Airness’ losing his cool.
Michael Jordan unapologetically shut down rapper and childhood fan
If anyone thought that Jordan would stop being just downright mean after his retirement, they couldn’t be more wrong. About six years post-retirement, MJ was at a party for the 6x champion when a longtime fan decided to try his luck getting a photo. The fan was none other than the rapper Chamillionaire, who had risen to fame in 2005 with his hit, “Ridin”.

He approached MJ, who was sitting with Spike Lee and a few other Boston players, preparing to get rejected. Not only was he denied, but “Air Jordan” did it in the most insulting manner.
“Nobody was talking, they were just chilling or whatever. I was just like, ‘Hey I don’t mean to be rude, but Mike I just wanted to know if I could get a picture?’ I kind of expected him to say no, so I wasn’t mad if he said no. But the way he said it? He said, ‘Oh hell nah, man! I ain’t taking no pictures with no ni**as’,” Chamillionaire recounted.
Well, that was when he realized the $7000 bucks he spent to get an MJ jersey at a Reggie Bush charity auction just went down the drain. Cham later shared that he lost respect for his childhood icon after the harrowing ordeal. Imagine what he would do to Hart or anyone else on the stage who will most definitely say something to trigger the fiercely dominant ex-Bulls guard.

If there is going to be an NBA legend roast, it would be probably wise to stick with Windhorst’s choice of Stephen Curry. At least no one will leave the event with a few missing teeth or a split lip.
