Every other year, there are a few rule changes that get implemented into the game. At times, they tend to benefit some players while robbing a few at the same time. However, this $163 million worth of All-Star did not hold back while giving his honest opinion about the league?s newest introduction.

Sacramento Kings All-Star point guard De?Aaron Fox is no stranger when it comes to voicing his feelings and opinions. The last time Fox gave a strong take was when Elon Musk introduced the new temporary rules on Twitter.

Now, Fox gave his honest opinion on the league?s latest new initiative, the In-Season Tournament. The In-Season Tournament is a new format introduced by the league in order to make the regular season more enticing.

Fox first asked fans, ?How do you feel about the in season tournament?? One fan replied, ?I think the idea of it is cool & will make the regular season more interesting to watch but i still don?t like it.?

Fox then quoted his reply and went on to say, ?I?m so so about. Obviously we?ve never done it before but other basketball leagues & soccer leagues do it. They seem to love it.?

What will the new Play-In Tournament entail?

The new Play-In Tournament is something the league will be trying for the first time in the upcoming 2023-24 NBA season. It will introduce a new in-season championship that all 30 teams will be competing for as per NBA.com.

The entire tournament will consist of a total of 67 games that will count in the team?s regular season games apart from the championship matches. Teams will compete in group play, where each team will play against the four other teams with two home games and two road games.

After the group play, eight teams will advance to the knockout round and compete in single-game elimination matches. And in the end, the last team to come out on top will win the NBA Cup.
