It seems like Draymond Green has taken all the fan comments about bias and using the media platform for settling personal grudges against players to heart. In what was a shocking display of awe, Green was heaping praises on Rudy Gobert. The Minnesota Timberwolves took care of the Mavs in Game 4, getting their first win in the Conference Finals.

Anthony Edwards and Co. will now wait for the Mavericks to visit them in Minneapolis for Game 5. Of course, the Wolves are not out of the woods yet. All Dallas needs is one win and they move to their first NBA Finals in 13 years. As for Minnesota, they will need two more wins to, at the very least, tie the series.

That would mean winning Games 5 and 6. Although Ant-Man has all the confidence needed for the entire team, ultimately, Edwards can’t win with a one-man show. His teammates need to step up and play as well as him or at least close enough. And tonight, they were a wolf pack. And that was one reason Dray was quite taken by Gobert, it would seem.

“What I’m looking is for the Minnesota bigs to set the tone like they did tonight,” Green pointed out. “If you actually watch the game, Rudy Gobert was in a lot of those [tone-setting instances] tonight. He was chucking everybody. He’s chucked Derrick Jones, Kyrie Irving a couple of times. It started in the first half and it set a tone for those guys!”

“They were able to then stop them defensively and take advantage of their size … He [Gobert] set a tone as a big man tonight,” Dray finished. While the 4x champion might have his differences with the French center, he isn’t stingy in giving credit where it’s due. After all, he did admit to O’Neal in the big man’s podcast that Gobert “wasn’t trash” anymore. He also said that the 4x DPOY would be a Hall of Famer.

However, Charles Barkley has a different take on the whole thing.

Charles Barkley disagrees with Draymond Green, says it’s the stars!

“Basketball to me is simple. Your stars have to be stars!” This was Barkley‘s stance. While he agreed that what Green said was good in theory, for the ‘Round Mound of Rebound,’ it has to be the stars of each team who have to “cancel each other out.” He puts forth the example of Karl-Anthony Towns tonight.

KAT finished the night with 25 points and five rebounds while shooting 69.2% from the field. He shot 3-of-5 from beyond the arc, as well as going a perfect 3-of-3 from the charity stripe. Towns had a hard time coming in to the series against the Mavericks, shooting just 28% from the field. In fact, after Game 3, he lamented that despite putting up 1500 shots a day, “to be having these unfortunate bounces and these looks that are just not going in, it’s tough.”

But then, he also said that confidence-wise, he was on point and all he had to do was continue shooting. Well, whatever pushed did tonight helped the team avoid elimination. For now. As ‘Sir Charles’ pointed out, if KAT “imposes his will like he did tonight,” the Mavs will have a problem on their hands. Do you agree with the Inside crew? If Karl-Anthony Towns continues his game tonight in the upcoming matchups, can the Wolves see themselves face-to-face against the Celtics? Let us know what you think!

Before you go, another matter foremost in our mind is about our beloved Inside the NBA crew. While many are sure they are going to be disbanded, Shaq’s ex-agent, Leonard Armato, thinks otherwise. To know more about his comments, watch this video.
