Wedding bells ringing for Cameron Brink! Enjoying the fashion week in Paris, little did the LA Sparks star know that her life would completely change during the trip. What she thought was an ordinary night with her longtime boyfriend Ben Felter turned into the next chapter of her love story with a wholesome wedding proposal from the Stanford graduate. And as Brink broke the news to the world, no one was happier than the Curry family.

In her latest Instagram post, Brink revealed that she was now engaged to her boyfriend. “Yes in every lifetime 🤍♾️” Cameron wrote as she shared glimpses of the memorable night. Well, the news filled the Curry household with immense joy as they share deep ties with Brink’s family and Stephen Curry is the godbrother of the WNBA rookie. Sure enough, Steph’s better half Ayesha Curry could not contain her excitement and remarked, “Yay yay yay yay!!!!!! Look at God” Meanwhile, The Baby-Faced Assassin’s sister Sydel Curry was also on cloud nine after hearing the news, “😍😍😍😍😍 I’m screaming!!”

It was indeed a scream-worthy moment because Cameron and Ben have been dating for nearly four years and their college romance has finally turned into a lifetime commitment of their love. Moreover, the proposal looked something out of a movie as the couple stood all dressed up at the rooftop of the Shangri-La Paris Hotel and Ben popped the question to Cameron with a beautiful sight of the Eiffel Tower in the background. While Cameron was a basketball sensation in college, her now fiancé was also a star rower at Stanford. It sure looks like a match made in heaven. And the wishes from the Curry family should not come as a surprise because they have stood by the Sparks star throughout her journey.

The Brink-Curry Bond: From family ties to becoming a “Role Model”

Well, the relationship between Steph and Cameron can be traced back to their parents as all four of them were very close during their time together at Virginia Tech. While their fathers Dell Curry and Greg Brink were teammates on the basketball team, the two stars’ mothers Sonya and Michelle were roommates. And their bond led to them becoming the godparents of each other’s children. Sure enough, that makes Cameron the godsister of Steph and Sydel. And the WNBA rookie has always looked up to the Curry siblings, “They’re both huge role models for me, so their support means the world.”

Meanwhile, Steph perfectly plays the part of a godbrother and even helped Cameron develop her game three years ago, “She was trying to develop her jumper and I spent a little bit of time with her, gave her some pointers.” As a result of the strong bond with Steph, Brink has also developed a great relationship with Ayesha. And Mrs. Curry can constantly be seen rooting for the young hooper on social media.
