Being on Oprah Winfrey’s “Favorite Things” list is a prestigious recognition for products, often driving a surge in popularity and sales. And for Ayesha Curry, this is the second time that she’s got the nod from the talk-show-host-turned-business-mogul. More on that in a moment, but what exactly caught Winfrey’s eye this time?
Released during the holiday time, the 19x Daytime Emmy Award winner selects a range of products across categories like wellness, fashion, and tech, highlighting quality, innovation, and utility. And in this year’s catalog, Ayesha’s Sweet July Edgewater Coffee Mug Set made it.

For those not quite familiar with the benefits of this, here is an example. According to a 2022 Investopedia article, award-winning interior designer Nate Berkus saw tremendous growth after appearing on Oprah in 2002. Although he started Nate Berkus Associated in 1995, at just 24, it did not really take off as well as he envisioned. Ayesha Curry reached her dream milestone last year
Last year, in her appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, the mother of four shared her excitement about being included in Oprah Winfrey’s “Favorite Things” for 2023. She expressed how surreal it felt to achieve such a significant goal after three years of hard work. “As a business owner, that is like the ultimate goal, to make it on to Oprah’s Favorite Things list, like what? So, to work so hard on something for 3+ years and wonder if anybody cares, like I lost my mind,” she noted.
Ayesha’s brand, Sweet July, had its Skin Day + Night Face Towel Set featured, and suffice it to say, it was a game changer. “I absolutely lost my mind, and it has been a complete game changer for us, even in terms of team morale…We love Oprah,” Mrs. Curry further added.
