If there is a Boss Lady among NBA WAGs, Ayesha Curry would surely be one. A Chef, entrepreneur, and bestselling author, Ayesha already has an impressive resume, but she didn’t stop there. Now, she has also added “publisher” to her list of accomplishments, further expanding her empire. But did she always know that she wanted to achieve so much professionally? Was there a pillar that she had her back on?
The Daytime Talk Show host Sherri was curious to know. Ayesha, being her most humble self confessed that she did but there was someone else as well who believed in her. “He did as well,” she said, smiling as she spoke of her husband, the Warriors superstar Stephen Curry. Isn’t it a beautiful thing? Ayesha felt that too.
“It’s great when you have a partner who understands that and sees you and knows that you have passions and is there to like encourage you and uplift you through the process,” Ayesha added. Curry may not be very vocal in supporting his wife, but from Ayesha’s confession, it’s clear that he does everything he can to motivate her to reach new heights. Doesn’t that sound too familiar to his counterpart LeBron James?

Much like Curry, the 20-time All-Star supports his wife, Savannah, not only behind closed doors but in the public eye as well. Whether it’s promoting her ventures on social media, appearing on her podcast, or letting her know how proud he is of her, his support is unwavering. “Ayyyyyeeee!!!! LOVE THIS! So fkn proud of you @mrs_savannahrj,” LeBron posted on his Instagram story, showing his deep admiration when Savannah’s new business Let It Break was officially announced.
Despite being poles apart from each other Stephen Curry and LeBron James’ immense support and unwavering faith in their wives embody what a true partner with a green flag looks like. No wonder both of their marriages have remained strong and healthy for years.
Coming back to Ayesha’s new role as a publisher, she’s off to a strong start, aiming to uplift diverse voices through her publishing house. To kick off this exciting new journey, she chose to return to her roots. Wondering how? Let’s hear it from the lady herself.

Ayesha Curry talks about her new book release
Ayesha Curry stepped into the publishing industry with her venture, Sweet July Books, and the first novel the organization will publish is Trisha Tobias’ “Honeysuckle and Bone”. You might not have heard of the author yet, as this is her debut novel. So, why give this story an opportunity? Ayesha explained it during an interview with CBS Mornings.
“The first obviously being that Trisha is an incredible author, but we have a ton of connections,” Ayesha said. “The first glaring connection being our Jamaican roots.” And there you go with the strong bond rooted in shared heritage. Her mother was from Jamaica, and she grew up hearing all kinds of stories about the country, which has fostered a deep attachment to it. But that’s not it. There were more reasons. “This story is based in Jamaica. The culture is just running all through the pages. And so that really drew us to this story.” Ayesha couldn’t resist the deep connection to Jamaican sentiment, which ultimately compelled her to give Trisha’s story a chance under her imprint.

Hope Ayesha’s latest venture finds the same success as all her previous ones, with Stephen Curry continuing to encourage his wife, even if it’s in private, and their love continuing to thrive. In the meantime, if you’re looking for a novel that combines some thriller elements, and new-age experiences with a mix of vibrant Jamaican culture, then be sure to grab the new release.
