Los Angeles is suffering. The ongoing wildfires in the county have destroyed over a thousand structures and left many residents homeless. At least 130,000 people have already been impacted by evacuation orders. Moreover, the LA County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that five people have lost their lives. Sure enough, the entire world feels devastated by the tragedy, including Ayesha Curry and Jordyn Woods, as the deadly flames have even affected the daily lives of two NBA head coaches!
With thousands of residents without a place to stay because of the wildfires, Ayesha shared Airbnb’s post on her Instagram story, writing, “Praying for everyone!” Well, re-posting this image could be of immense help as it revealed that the property rental giants will be offering free, emergency housing for the people impacted by the LA wildfires, providing a temporary roof over their heads.
Meanwhile, Jordyn Woods was also left heartbroken after she saw the latest drone shot of a neighborhood in Pacific Palisades completely burned down by the fire. “This is insane,” Karl-Anthony Towns’ girlfriend wrote.

He addressed it before yesterday’s Mavs clash, saying, “I want to acknowledge and send thoughts and prayers to everyone in Palisades right now. It’s where I live. My family, my wife’s family, my wife’s twin sister. They’ve evacuated. I know there are a lot of people freaking out right now, including my family.”

She had to evacuate.” Unfortunately, the two head coaches were not the only people in the NBA community affected by the wildfires.

Yes, the Lakers are scheduled to face the Hornets tomorrow. But the game might be postponed due to the current situation in LA. Addressing the issue, league spokesman Mike Bass said, “We are in communication with the Lakers and Hornets and continue to closely monitor the situation to determine if any scheduling adjustments are necessary related to tomorrow night’s game.”
The NHL has already postponed the Kings vs Flames game that was supposed to happen tonight. So, there is a very high chance that the NBA will do the same and wait for the situation in LA to get better.
