Ayesha Curry's $4,600 outfit at the US Open—fashion icon or just flaunting wealth?

It’s been a busy week for Stephen Curry in NYC. The blue-eyed boy of the Bay Area went round the clock, taking care of his off-season duties, business, golfing, and interviews at the Big Apple. Nevertheless, amid this tight schedule, he spent quality time with his wife, Ayesha Curry. The couple, known for their immaculate fashion ensemble wherever they turn up, didn’t disappoint the on-lookers this time either. Connect the dots; New York City and luxurious outfits. The couple rocked the US Open Final!

After days of immense toil, the Women’s Singles had its showdown on Saturday. No.2 ranked Aryna Sabalenka took on the American hope Jessica Pegula on a rainy day. Under the closed roof, Sabalenka dominated the game (7-5, 7-5) to defeat the No.6 ranked Pegula. Amid the intense action in the center, the Curry couple rocked the show from the sidelines.

Stephen Curry walked in with his wife, Ayesha, as they turned up to their first sporting event together since the birth of their fourth child. Mrs. Curry donned a classic white cropped Brunello Cucinelli polo shirt with stripes on it, that is worth $1,895. On the other hand, Steph suited up with Zegna’s Off White Striped Oasi Lino Shirt worth $2700.

While there isn’t clarity on which tennis star the couple rooted for, it’s clear that they had an incredible time. Ayesha Curry took to her Instagram stories, shared a picture from the stands, and wrote, “Very mindful. Very demure.” Maybe this could be a compliment for Aryna Sabalenka, who strategically got the better of Jessica Pegula, now cashing out a mouth-watering $3.6 million as prize money. And in the next story, the entrepreneur shared a heartwarming selfie with her husband as they showcased their luxury outfits.

With only days left for the new NBA season to kick off, Stephen Curry has had a busy time at the Empire City. Firstly, the superstar moved toward NYC to organize the third annual Curry Cup golf tournament for the junior golfers. While the other two editions took place in the Bay Area, Steph considered the move to NYC a major achievement. An upgrade? Why not. Speaking of it, he said, “Having the Curry Cup here on the East Coast, a brand new market for us… We have a lot of great support from our partners, who believe in our vision and our leadership. Being in a space, service these kids at a very high level.”

Apart from that, he also visited the Nasdaq in Times Square, representing Underrated alongside the KPMG group to ring the bell. Notably, he became the only NBA player to do it after Michael Jordan, who he termed as “some random guy”, in a playful jab. Apart from that, Steph also allocated his time for interviews and late-night shows, speaking about his recent success in the Paris Olympics. Nevertheless, the superstar’s leisure would come to an end in a few days, as he has a huge responsibility resting on his shoulder. The 4x NBA Champ has to carry a Klay Thompson-less Warriors in the highly competitive Western Conference.
