Did Stephen Curry just do that? Rub your eyes all you want, but that won’t change the fact that he removed the Warriors’ info from his IG bio. So is the Bay Area on the verge of losing both the Splash Brothers in just a matter of months? Just when the prospect had the Dubs nation on high alert, Steph clarified the motive behind his move, assuring the millions of fans and his wife, Ayesha Curry.
After his Olympic heroics, Steph is spending some quality time with his family that brought two of his loves together, Ayesha and Golf. During his outing on the course, hosting a charity golf tournament benefiting the couple’s Eat.Learn.Play. Foundation, Steph bumped into Emily Chang, who recorded the couple and that’s when the query of the hour was raised.
Emily asked Curry why he removed the Warriors from his IG bio, leaving Ayesha puzzled as she said with confusion, “Wait what!” Steph playfully answered that he removed it because he wanted his “Proud Olympian” identity to be in the spotlight. After pressing further, Steph assured Chang and the Warriors fans that he’s Dubs for life and plans on staying “Forever”. For now, we can say, yes, he’s Warriors for life as Curry extended his stay in the Bay Area by signing a $62.6 million deal. This came after Curry was linked to a move away following his Olympics adventure with LeBron James. Reports paired the duo again, but this time in franchise colors with no surety of the reunion happening in San Francisco.

The Silicon Valley property again changed hands in 2022 before Ayesha and Steph moved the family to a similar property in the same area. Since then, the Curry couple and their offspring have been living there. Trouble brewed last year when the authority sanctioned a housing project in the neighborhood. Fearing for his family’s privacy, Curry objected to the plan drawing significant backlash.
