Soon after the FIBA WC exit, The Athletic‘s Shams Charania reported that LeBron James has shown interest in forming a team ahead of the 2024 Olympics. Fans saw it as a superhero’s act to avenge his national team’s reputation in the international arena. One excited fan compared it the popular superhero film series Marvel’s Avengers. He wrote, “ironman assembling the avengers,” via social media.

Following that, many NBA superstars named tagged along in the formation of the “Avengers,” as the fans call it. However, in a recent interview with the ESPN, Austin Reaves expressed his wish to play for the team.

D-Book reassures his role in the super team

A few weeks ago, when the NBA world went gaga about the super team, Washington Wizards star Kyle Kuzma dropped an interesting tweet regarding the roster.

The tweet read, “USA basketball better get some NBA stars that know how to play a role. Anybody can be nice with the ball in their hands but can you be cool with defending and going to the corner for a few possessions?”
