The Philadelphia 76ers suffered a heartbreaking loss at home against the Los Angeles Clippers. Fans at the Wells Fargo Center expected the Sixers to win tonight’s game amid James Harden’s highly-anticipated return to Philly. However, a controversial finish led to the Sixers losing the game 108-107. The consecutive no-calls on the final play enraged the Sixers’ head coach, Nick Nurse, and even led Kelly Oubre Jr. to go out of his way to confront the game officials.

With the Sixers leading by 2 points and less than 20 seconds remaining in the game, Kelly Oubre Jr. got called for a shooting foul on Kawhi Leonard. Leonard completed the And-1 play and got the Clippers a 1-point lead. On the other end, Oubre got the opportunity to win the game twice but was stopped by Kawhi’s lockdown defense. Oubre believed he got fouled on both plays, but the officials did not call anything, and the game ended in a Sixers loss. Oubre was livid after the loss and had some harsh words for all 3 game officials. He pointed at each referee and yelled, “You’re a b**ch. You’re a b**ch. You’re a b**ch.”

Oubre’s actions could get the Sixers in deep trouble, as they might get penalized with a hefty fine for cursing at the officials. However, the Sixers forward apologized for his actions in the post-game interview and said he would accept the consequences. Nonetheless, he believed things were called differently on both ends in tonight’s game, which led to his extreme outrage.
