Two key components of the Golden State Warriors dynasty have departed from the team, and they could land in ESPN?s television world. It must be a welcome change for them to be free from the ultra-competitive title chase after title chase, to just speak hoops as a student of the game. Both Bob Myers and Andre Iguodala have already made their appearances on ESPN, but are they going to make this as a career?

ESPN boasts of talents like J. J. Redick, Richard Jefferson, and Kendrick Perkins as their NBA analysts. And to it, if Iguodala and Bob Myers join forces, there will be too much firepower in one spot.

Andre Iguodala was on First Take with Stephen A. Smith recently. This was his first media interaction after announcing his retirement from the league. And it is safe to say that Iguodala was a natural on TV. The stylish star effortlessly talked about his time with the Warriors and his future business ventures. That painted a picture of Iggy’s current interests and plans for his immediate future. Yet, Stephen A. wanted him to pursue a coaching career in the NBA. Though it was very flattering, Iguodala did not make an affirmative comment on Stephen A’s suggestion. Regardless of his future career choices, Iggy will always be available for his fans on his “Point Forward” podcast.

After spending over a decade with the Warriors, Bob Myers did not renew his contract with the Dubs. He had been the executive of the year twice, and a 4 time champion. Yet his zeal for the Hoops brings him to the gates of ESPN. He is going to be a studio analyst and a game analyst for the ABC editions. He is also going to call games. Now, the NBA countdown team will have Mallika Andrews, Michael Wilbon, Stephen A. Smith, Adrian Wojnarowski, and Bob Myers.
