While going through his contributions to the community, one of LeBron’s childhood friends and basketball teammates from the “Fab 5 ” Willie McGee was introduced. During his time at St.Vincent St. Mary High School, James was taking over the nation’s basketball conversation with his teammates.

McGee took the reporter to their locker room. A small corner with five closely packed lockers. LeBron’s childhood buddy said that he and the Akron hammer called it “The Hood”. For that reason, they hung out beyond that area in the places they called “The Suburbs”.
