Is Anthony Edwards the next Bo Jackson, ready to dominate both NBA courts and NFL fields?

“If I win a ring in the next 3-4 years, I’m going to play football.” You need to have extreme confidence in yourself to say such a thing. But well, not all of us can be Anthony Edwards either! The Minnesota Timberwolves foreman has been the talk of the town in recent times for all the right reasons. Considered the Michael Jordan of the new generation, Ant-Man oozes a level of self-assurance like no other hooper. Therefore, when he paired with the NFL star Justin Jefferson for an iconic jersey swap, there were sparks of brilliance.

The Minnesota duo reimagines the historic Randy Moss and Kevin Garnett photo as reported by Adam Schefter. Meanwhile, it looks like the 23-year-old hooper isn’t giving up on his profession switch, well, not just yet. So, Anthony Edwards took to his X handle, to repost Schefter’s post with a caption: “@AdamSchefter what team need me right now?? What the GMs talking bout?” It seems ANT is seeking help from one of the most decorated NFL Insiders for a career swap. Surely, the millionaire insider would be the right person to inform Edwards when and where there is a vacancy in the Football teams.

Well, someone from the NFL also needs to keep ANT in the back of their minds now. Because, the day Edwards clinches his first Larry O’Brien, he is sure to go and take some touchdowns. But, which position will the T-Wolves star take? Maybe, a quarterback would be perfect, because, why not? Anthony Edwards takes on the most important role for his team in the NBA and he can surely do the same in the football league!

Moreover, it wouldn’t be time for an NBA star to play a completely different sport. His Airness switched to baseball for a while before coming back to his first love- basketball. As of now, it seems MJ’s alleged successor, Anthony Edwards is simply following his path. However, it remains uncertain whether ANT will quit basketball once and for all or will come back.
