Anthony Edwards Generously Gives Gameworn Jersey to Little Kid in Wholesome Moment After Beating Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers had to succumb to the young Timberwolves after a hard-fought battle. Minnesota claimed victory over the Lakers 118-111 tonight. While it provides plenty to talk about, what is making the internet go heart-eyes now is an adorable video of Anthony Edwards. Post-game saw the ANT spending some time with his little fans.

Their innocent comments, excitement, and Edwards’s reaction have made the clip absolutely wholesome. But it was a little girl who stole the spotlight.

Anthony Edwards is making everyone fall in love with him

Initially going for an autograph on her jersey, the little girl joined the rest of the kids for a photo. Not satisfied with it, she tentatively walked forward and poked Anthony. Taking it as a hint, the “Ant-Man” asked her if she’d like the jersey, to which she nodded. “Alright, you can have it,” was his immediate reply.

Seeing the Timberwolves star waste no time taking his jersey off, the little one exclaimed, “What?! You took it off already?” That was the final touch! Her unfiltered shock at Edwards’s action is going to keep the internet going crazy for at least the next 24 hours.

Karl-Anthony Towns struggled a lot with shouldering the team on his own. So when they drafted Anthony Edwards, it was with the hope that he would one day lead the franchise. They never expected him to take the reins this fast. Looking at the Minnesota Timberwolves now, it’s definitely ANT’s team.

His passions for the game and confidence was a refreshing change. It is exactly this that the Wolves fans love. Not too long before tonight’s fan meet, there was another hilarious situation with a young fan. He could very well give Edwards a run for his money.

Around six days ago, Edwards and teammate Mike Conley were meeting with fans and signing jerseys. Not one to back away from a challenge, even if it’s from a young fan, Anthony’s hilarious reaction to a little swagger will forever be engraved into our minds.

There were two boys who personally wanted to meet the “Ant-Man”. On getting close to him, Conley pointed to Edwards and told them he was the man. Not letting a second go to waste, ANT had replied that he wasn’t the guy they were looking for. And that all he does is score buckets and dunk on people.

The little young man was having none of it. “See, you never gonna dunk on me,” was his confident reply.

Without missing a beat, the star guard said, “Come on, man! Come and get your stuff before you get dunked on.” The way he said it had the entire crowd erupt into laughter. It was surely another one of Anthony Edwards’ wholesome moments!
