The Lakers’ unbeaten run comes to a halt, as the Suns seek revenge. Tonight, the LA side visited the Valley on their first outing of the five-game road trip. LeBron James & Co. came off an impressive win over the Kings, chasing down a 20-point deficit. However, Kevin Durant & Co. seemed prepared for the threat, as they pulled off a close 109-105 win. Meanwhile, Bron and Anthony Davis seemed unfazed by the loss, as they opened up about their personal expectations for the next outing against the Cavs.

The Brow, who has already triggered MVP chants with his consistent 30-point performances, had a relaxed response to the loss. Speaking to the reporters, AD said, Nobody in history win 82. We don’t expect to lose but we’re realistic… Obviously, we don’t want to start off with the first loss on this trip. I’m happy with the way guys competed and played extremely hard.” Following that, Davis spoke to the Cavaliers, their next opponent.

Apart from the Celts, the Cavs are the only unbeaten team with 4 wins in the league. Addressing the obstacle ahead, Anthony Davis defined a challenging aim, saying, That’ll be a challenge for us all year: never lose two in a row.” It’s the same goal that AD had believed during the Lakers’ 2019-20 championship run, as he said, “Our whole thing, we don’t wanna lose two in a row ever.”

It’s safe to say that Anthony Davis has turned the clock around for the Lakers. After facing constant criticisms over his fitness, the big man produced a career-high appearance last season. And, under JJ Redick’s leadership, he started off this season with three consecutive 30-point games, the first time in Lakers history.

Bron, who had a quiet game tonight, dropping 11 points with 3-14 FG, opened up his emotions on the Cavs homecoming alongside his son. He said, “It will be very special to be back home… Me and my son have spent a lot of time on that floor… I played there for eleven years.”

So, looking at LeBron James’ emotional response, we might see Bronny James once again lacing up with his dad again. Maybe we could come across yet another wholesome father-son moment on the court. Will this be the game in which Bronny turns up his cylinders? Let us know in the comments.
