Draymond Green was back in the line-up recently after missing a month because of suspension. However, his re-inclusion in the roster didn’t help. The Golden State Warriors lost pretty badly to the Memphis Grizzlies, who were still dealing with Ja Morant’s absence after his season-ending injury. This put forward many bitter truths in front of the dubs. Chief among those questions was, is this the fall of a dynasty?

While that question is still up for speculation, one thing is certain: the upcoming trade will bring a major change to the Warriors line-up. The entire league is anticipating a big shake-up from the Dubs’s front office and the necks of two of the team’s three major superstars Green and Klay Thompson are on the line.

On the latest episode of the Draymond Green show, the power forward opens up about these prospects. One key thing to remember is that he isn’t in a favorable spot due to being suspended twice this year, once for punching Rudy Gobert and the recent one for hitting Suns Centre, Jusuf Nurkic, in the face.

“As far as if I’m traded or if someone, like that’s the business. The business is you can be traded; the business is you can be waived. The business is you can be benched; the business is you can start; the business is you can play well; the business is you can play bad. That’s the business; that’s what comes with the territory,” said Green.

He further added, ” I’m not going to sit and dwell on the rumors or, oh, like beat myself up. Like, rumors are just that; they’re rumors until they’re true, and so if that ever came to fruition, then you deal with that when you cross that bridge.” Over the years, the former Defensive Player of the Year has contributed his share to the Warriors winning four championships with the team.

Rumors indicate that someone like Pascal Siakam is someone the Warriors are eyeing however Siakam’s stand on the matter doesn’t sound too good for the Dubs.

The 29-year-old’s consistent performance, averaging 22.2 points, 4.9 assists, and 6.3 rebounds this season, presents an appealing stability for teams, but the path to acquiring him remains challenging for the Dubs. To secure Siakam the Dubs will have to give up either Draymond or Klay. Who do you think it will be?
