Giannis Antetokounmpo‘s recent interviews have added fuel to rumors that he would depart from the Milwaukee Bucks. The former MVP has a player option in his current contract, allowing him to pursue different opportunities in 2024-25. Nonetheless, all this speculation that comes after Giannis said if he does not see it in Milwaukee moving ahead, he is willing to look for a better opportunity to win an NBA championship. However, he also affirmed his loyalty to the Bucks.
While all of this is a speculation at best. If the Greek Freak decides to leave the Bucks, he could bag a sizable amount of cash. Interestingly, that amount has already been added to his contract.

He further added, “And I have to do whatever it takes for me to win. And if there’s a better situation for me to win the Larry O’Brien, I have to take that better situation.”?

Hypothetically, if Giannis does decide to leave, his contract dictates certain things. Above all, he will pocket a sweet 3 million dollars from the Bucks for his loyalty to the franchise. The paperwork states that the trade bonus will be 15% of his 45 million salary.
