The 2024 Paris Olympics is going to witness some big names. Greece, among the 24 nations, will compete in the qualifying tournaments ahead of the Olympics. When it comes down to Greece in basketball, we cannot simply ignore our very own Greek Freak Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The Bucks superstar represented Greece in multiple tournaments. The list includes the 2014 and 2019 FIBA World Cup and the 2015 EuroBasket. The Milwaukee Bucks captain was asked about this. He did not hesitate to answer. In an interview with Eurohoops.net, he said, ?Right now, I am just looking forward to seeing my kids. After that, play Washington. Then after that, have a good season. Hopefully, we will be the last team standing. And after that, try to qualify for Paris.” He added,??If all those things happen in order and we make it to Paris, I will be excited to be there.?

It is evident that he is eyeing the Olympics. But before that, he wants to clinch the third NBA title for the Bucks. The Wisconsin-based team won the championship back in 2021, thanks to the Freak’s heroics. The 2021 NBA Finals MVP is indeed one of the greatest players of all time. Most importantly, he has kept his form intact. His 54-point spell against the Indiana Pacers is not to be forgotten. He is an MVP-level player, and Greece will highly benefit from his presence.

Bucks’ loss against Celtics

Despite the Giannis-Lillard duo playing well, the Bucks fell short of three points against the Boston Celtics. The scores stood at 119-116 in favor of the Celts. After the loss, the Bucks fell to the third position in the Eastern Conference tables. Antetokounmpo scored 21 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists.

Bucks coach Adrian Griffin opened up after the match. He said, ?They are really good. They play the right way, playing for one another. They have multiple guys that can shoot from the three-point line. Guys that want to get going offensively. This is another year that they are very good.??It seems like he is all praise for the Celtics.
