Monday night hit hard for the Golden State Warriors. The Chase Center? More like a house of horrors. The Brooklyn Nets walked in, dropped 128 points, and left the Dubs stunned with a 120-128 loss. Chaos reigned. Sure, Stephen Curry did his thing, but the rest of the squad? Ineffective. That’s not even the hot topic, though. Fans are losing it over Curry’s time on the floor. What if the veteran had stayed longer? Could the Dubs have pulled off a comeback?
The chances are 50-50, to be honest. Well, Steph did put in 28 points in the 29 minutes of his game. Curry playing less than 30 minutes (even by a minute) feels like a loss for Dub Nation, as fans are accustomed to seeing him put in more time on the court. But, there must be a reason why Steve Kerr moved ahead with his bold tactics with the Baby-Faced Assasin. Well, worry not, Draymond Green is here to break it down for you!

In the latest episode of The Draymond Green Show, Dr. Dunkenstein and co-host Baron Davis explained the idea behind Coach Kerr’s plan with Curry. In his usual stance, Dray didn’t hold back on his opinions. He said:
“We’re going to need it if we want to reach our ultimate goal. If you think the right thing to do is to snatch them out, to kill their confidence, to put Steph in harm’s way because you’re chasing a win on Monday night in November, it ain’t gonna work.“ Draymond added: “You won’t end up with nine championships. I can tell you ain’t playing for the playoffs. You ain’t playing for no damn championship.”
Well, losing games is a part of a champion’s journey. Moreover, chasing the dream of having nine rings by risking Stephen Curry would do no good. Because “you’re gonna win some, you’re gonna lose some,” BD chimes in. “Somebody’s gonna hit a buzzer backward shot, all kinds of crazy sh** can happen. You want to win the ones you know you’re gonna win. You’re gonna lose some, you know what I mean. But at the same time, you live to play another day.”
Unfortunately, many missed the point of Stephen Curry’s knee woes, which appeared out of the blue. Draymond Green is also suffering from something similar. And it looks like Curry is questionable for Wednesday’s game night vs. OKC Thunder. So, what is Steve Kerr brewing?
Is Steph Curry playing the crucial game against the Thunder on Wednesday?
Steve Kerr reduced Stephen Curry and Draymond Green’s minutes against the Brooklyn Nets, and the fans aren’t happy about it. However, the HC had a greater reason behind his actions. Coach Kerr appeared on Willard & Dibs Show to talk about his prime stars. There he revealed: “Steph and Draymond both sat out practice today with aches and pains, Steph with the knee stuff. We’ll keep him as questionable and we’ll see how he’s doing tomorrow.” So, now the question is: Will the Threezus play on Wednesday?

Curry is questionable for Wednesday’s game night against Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s OKC Thunder. The 2x MVP has cited bilateral knee patellofemoral pain, causing patella soreness in both knees. Steph has now played 10 games in a row after missing three games with an ankle sprain earlier in the season. However, there’s always room for optimism and fans are hoping to see their 10x All-Star legend on the floor.

Meanwhile, it was important for the fans to know the psychology behind the coach’s strategies with Curry and Green. And as always, credits go to Draymond for his unfiltered dissection of pressing matters.
