While almost every megabucks trade saw the light of the day, Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard’s trade still struggles to find its way. After a 11-season-long ringless journey with the Blazers, several trade rumors suggested Lillard’s wish to quit the franchise. Unfortunately, the 7x All-Star is yet to land a trade. Meanwhile, a recent report indicated that the Blazers may have found a replacement for Dame in a 5x All-Star.

The whole Dame trade drama began when his team failed to qualify for the postseason two times in a row. The 32-year-old star began revealing his intentions to force a trade at the beginning of the 2023 postseason. Apart from occupying courtside seats in two games, Lillard’s social media activities also hinted at a trade. However, the recent update could be the final signal for Dame’s exit.

After a 9-season-long impressive run with Wizards averaging 19 points, John Wall failed to settle in another franchise. Even though the Los Angeles Clippers traded him last season, he eventually ended up a free agent after the Houston Rockets waived the deal in the current offseason.

Following the misfortune, Wall held private workout sessions with multiple teams, including the Blazers and Boston Celtics, to showcase his talent, reported The Athletic reporter, Kelly Iko.

While Lillard’s intentions to exit the franchise are in full blow, fans expect the Blazers to replace the star with Wall.
