A'ja Wilson's performance: Is she the LeBron James of the WNBA?

Another MVP trophy incoming for A’ja Wilson? Well, with the way she has been dominating the league this season, it sure looks like the WNBA veteran might be well on her way to bagging her third coveted individual honor. And she showed a glimpse of her incredible form once again in tonight’s game against the Dallas Wings, which had LeBron James buzzing even before the final whistle blew.

Yes, despite playing on enemy territory, A’ja was on fire from the get-go and had already dropped 32 points by the end of the third quarter. On top of that, she also added 4 rebounds and 2 assists to her insane stat line. And she did it while missing only 5 of her 19 shots with a 73.7% efficiency. Sure enough, her performance worked in the Aces’ favor as they led the game by 8 points heading into the final quarter.

Impressed by her scoring outburst, LeBron James took to X and wrote, “Lil sis going crazy right now!!!! @_ajawilson22” with fuming emojis.

Just like LeBron James, WNBA World was stunned, again, as A’ja Wilson added to her stat line in an unfortunate loss

But impressed by A’ja’s amazing numbers, one fan declared, “She the best WNBA player I’ve ever seen no lie.” And this claim might not be too far-fetched as she is already a 2x champion and MVP at 28.

The community just marveled at the historic season A’ja is having. As if she was not already dominant, Wilson has taken a huge leap this season and is averaging a career-high 26.6 points. For perspective, the second-highest scorer this season is averaging only 22.6 points! Now that’s a steep difference.

Although A’ja’s amazing scoring night could not translate into a win, she showed once again why many people call her the best player in the WNBA. What are your thoughts?
