LeBron James has been the face of the NBA since he was drafted in 2003. He has played for 3 different teams during his 20-year career and became a Billionaire in the process. King James’ billionaire status comes from his NBA earnings, multiple businesses, and endorsements outside the NBA. Having played at an elite level for 20 years, LeBron has raked in $431,859,107 just from his NBA contract earnings. And the amount keeps increasing each year. But Canelo Alvarez has surpassed the 4-time Champion’s career earnings after his big win over Jermell Charlo.

Canelo was reported to earn a minimum of $40 million after the fight, which could even go up to $50 million depending on the outcome and pay-per-view purchases. Following his big win, the Undisputed Champion’s career earnings shot up to a massive $550 million, which is over $118 million more than the Los Angeles Lakers superstar’s income throughout his 20-year career. The only two boxers who have generated more income than Canelo are boxing GOATs Manny Pacquiao and Floyd “Money” Mayweather. However, LeBron James will not be left far behind for very long.
