A basketball player having a shoe deal with a brand signifies his impact on the world. Fans do not buy the shoes because it has some outstanding features or some new colorway, they buy them because their favorite player wears them. Michael Jordan was the first player to revolutionize these sneaker deals in the NBA. He was the first person to ever have his own signature shoe called “Air Jordan,” in collaboration with Nike.
