After Lithuania Destroyed Anthony Edwards and Austin Reaves’ Team USA, Fans Go Off at Viral LaMelo Ball Revelation: “Lavar has to Answer for his Crimes Man”

Anthony Edwards and his men’s unbeaten run in the FIBA World Cup is over after their match up against Lithuania. Despite a strong comeback after a first-quarter deficit, the team failed to see through in the last moments of the game. Following the loss, the USA team fans expressed their anger and disappointment via social media. Meanwhile, Charlotte Hornets’ star LaMelo Ball’s comment during the game induced fans’ wrath. 

Team USA stepped into the game with 4-0 domination in the tournament. While fans expected the team to produce an unbeaten run like the previous teams, the team succumbed to a disappointing loss. In the previous edition of the FIBA World Cup in Spain, Jayson Tatum and his men ended a 58-game winning streak in the World Cup. Though the previous team lost the game in the knockout stage against France, the current team lost in the group stage.

Team USA started off the game on back foot as Lithuania secured 31-12 lead in the first quarter. Anthony Edwards asserted his domination on the other end, but the Minnesota Timberwolves star didn’t get much support from his teammates. Especially, Austin Reaves’ bag of tricks didn’t work on the game, as the star only secured 7 points. While the team struggled to compete against its opponent, LaMelo Ball was concerned about another issue.

The Hornets star took to his Instagram story and shared a picture of Lithuania’s guard Tomas Dimsa from the game. Along with it he also wrote, “I sweaa i think dis buddy i hooped with back den.” Following that, a Twitter handle shared the screen grab of Ball’s IG story and a picture of him playing alongside Dimsa in a Lithuanian basketball club, BC Prienai.

Following that, the already frustrated fans swarmed the comments to roast the star.

In response to the tweet, hundreds of fans flooded the comments reacting to Ball’s IG story. Some fans took out their frustration with the comments. Meanwhile, some sections of the fans trolled the star for not remembering his own teammate. One user said, “Lavar has to answer for his crimes man.”

Fans felt that the star’s father, LaVar Ball, should be held accountable for his actions.
