Stephen Curry’s body of work needs no introduction to NBA fans. He changed the game through his superb offensive skill set and has built huge name recognition. As a result, the Curry brand is ringing loud and proud. His huge list of endorsements, his hefty payday which is north of $50 million dollar a year, and his stakes in Under Armour have helped him generate a lot of wealth. With his feet firmly set in the business world, he launched his own whiskey line, named Gentleman’s Cut.
What better way to promote your own product than having some drinks with your own fans? And how about an endorsement from another player who was known for torching defenses?

Stephen Curry’s Gentleman Cut is packing a lot of heat
Curry launched Gentleman’s Cut Bourbon edition in May this year. This whiskey is a blend of 75% corn, 21% Rye, and 4% Malted Barley. Aged for five to seven years, it claims to provide the taste of honey, fresh vanilla bean, cocoa, and toast. Therefore, when Washington Wizards sharpshooter Gilbert Arenas took a sip, he felt the flavor straightaway.
During his renowned YouTube show Gil’s Arena, former NBA players Rashad McCants, Stephen Jackson, and Brandon Jennings joined in. The crew tried out the whiskey on the set and when Jackson asked him about the drink, the three-time All-Star stated, “I’m trying to man, but I am already sweating through the hat and everything”. They loved the taste, setting up heated debates about the current best players in the NBA.
On the other hand, while preparing for the American Celebrity Century Championships, which will begin on 14 July, Curry shared a snippet of his practice. In his Instagram story, he posted a photograph of Gentleman’s Cut, and in the next story; he is practicing his swing. During the session, he gave a bunch of fans a memory to savor for a lifetime.

Drinking with Curry
Amidst huge cheers, The Golden State Warriors Guard served the drink to around ten people. He poured the drink for himself and then he raised a toast. He chugged the whiskey effortlessly, along with the fans. Naturally, this brought out a lot of excitement among them, and then Curry departed with an amicable smile.
