Cam Reddish’s influence on the court was not seen in his stats as he played 33 minutes but only scored 9 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist. But he played a major part in consistently guarding the rising star of the NBA, Tyrese Haliburton, and limited his field goal attempts. When Reddish started guarding T.J. McConnell, he performed an unbelievable block which even shocked McConnell himself.
While the Lakers struggled with three-point shooting, Reddish’s offensive impact was critical. After Myles Turner’s three-pointer looked to close the deficit, his clutch three-pointer kept the advantage at two possessions. So, due to his impact on both sides of the floor, he proved his worth to the Lakers. And as the season progresses, the City of Angels have yet another weapon in their arsenal that can make an impact on the floor.
