Kevin Durant of the Suns turns to music when it becomes particularly stressful or to loosen up before a game. He is not the first. In fact, many people find music to be an amazing stress reliever, among other things. From LeBron and Michael Jordan to Jimmy Butler, many NBA players have taken music seriously enough to invest in them.

After a controversial year with the Hornets, LaMelo Ball’s teammate has made his appearance with a groovy hip-hop tune. It even made its way to 13x NBA All-Star KD’s ears, earning his approval in the process. There is another player who is hooked on the latest release.

Scottie Barnes is Toronto Raptors’, one of the best investments. Increasing his offensive responsibilities has been at the forefront going into this season. But when he’s not in the gym, Scottie seems to be spending time listening to music.

In a recent Twitter post, Barnes is seen jamming to Kai Jones’ latest release. “Kai Jones got his song stuck in Scottie Barnes head.”

The Hornets’ center, Kai Jones, caused a stir with his controversial comments about LaMelo Ball, LeBron, and Jordan. He had been behaving weirdly a few months back. It was certainly concerning and provided a straightforward path for him to fall out of grace.

Whatever issues he was facing seem to have not affected his ability to create great music. Kai is now a free agent after the Hornets waived him after he asked for a trade. So far, no team has come forward with a contract for the 22-year-old Bahamian. Can KD’s interest in Kai’s music prove to be fruitful for him?
