Few athletes in this high-stakes world of professional basketball have overcome hardships like Jimmy Butler. His path from being homeless at the age of 13 to becoming one of the NBA’s most clutch players is nothing short of extraordinary. But it’s not just his basketball ability that has drawn notice,?it’s also his business mind.

Jimmy Butler demonstrated his business acumen during the NBA Bubble. The NBA Star started a clever coffee enterprise in Disney World where, due to his street-smart mind, he was minting money. And in his interview with Rolling Stone, he did not spare any details in letting the world know how he did it.

Jimmy Butler’s basketball career is a tribute to perseverance and hard effort. Despite various challenges during his career, he has risen to the top of the NBA ranks. While many players devote their careers to their sport, Jimmy Butler chose to enter the realm of entrepreneurship. And that too in the most unlikely of places, the NBA Bubble.

Everything began with a simple desire for a decent cup of coffee. The Bubble’s alternatives for a good brew were limited, causing Butler to take matters into his own hands. He began experimenting with various coffee beans and devices after purchasing them on Amazon. And then his experimental home-brewed coffee concoctions, however, became the talk of the Bubble.

Butler’s unusual pricing strategy was what set his coffee enterprise apart. During an interview with Rolling Stone,?he said, “Everything in the Bubble was done with wristbands. We would get our per diems and I realized, if I could get people to pay me in twenties, they?d eventually run out of twenties and have to pay me with hundreds, and then they didn?t realize that they?d really be paying $100 a cup because I said I didn?t have change. But ain?t nobody cares about paying a hundred dollars for a cup of coffee if I?m makin? it. It?s just that good.”?
