LeBron James might be the head of the table in the household, but it’s Savannah James who is the glue for the family. The 37-year-old acts as the underrated star in LeBron’s family of 5. While parenting is never easy, Mama James has successfully raised 3 kids, 2 of whom are on their path to the NBA. Just like LeBron’s movement on the hardboard is measured most of the time, his wife does the same to keep the dynamic at home vertical. But that’s not a cakewalk, as Savannah recently opened up about her struggles, mostly during conversations.

During the latest episode of Everybody’s Crazy, Mrs. James set the record straight about choosing her words carefully enough while around her kids. The podcast’s general theme revolves around callers sharing their ‘Crazy habits’ with Savannah and her co-host, April McDaniel, handing out their advice. In the latest episode titled, ‘It’s Giving..Bucket List, a caller named Madison Sussanine shared her crazy habit.

According to her, she needs to rehearse conversations in her head, being an overthinker and perfectionist. Connecting herself to the problem, Savannah showed her support and said, “The only thing for me is I be having all the hits. Bap, bap, bap, I’m having this conversation. I’m saying this, I’m saying that. And the shit comes out like nothing that I rehearsed. It’s so annoying…And then I lay in bed at night and everything just flows so smoothly. And I’d be like, why couldn’t it just come out like that?”

Stating that the possible cause of it can be her nervousness during the situations, Savannah detailed whether it happens while talking to her kids as well. “I wouldn’t say I rehearse with my kids, but I definitely don’t want to say something. I only want to say things that will be productive and positive,” Mrs. James said.

Explaining further, Savannah added, “I never want to have a negative conversation with my kid unless it’s something that’s being addressed and then the positive is coming after. So I just look at that from that way. But like, if it’s like an argument or something that I’m trying to like, I had a fact for, I got to rehearse it…I needed to have an outline. I needed to go like this. And it never does.”

With two teenage boys at home, Savannah needs to have a positive influence to get her sons through difficulties. But now, with both of her sons in relationships, she has some extra thinking to do.

The James family was seen in all its glory during the Paris Olympics final game between Team USA and France. Bronny and Bryce have reportedly entered dating lives with their rumored partners Parker Whitfield and Sadie Johnson, respectively. The couples were with Savannah and Zhuri during the final and a video showed how their mother was watchful of her grown-up spawns.

Savannah also opened up about her fear that her sons would be away from her now, as they have their own relationships and a place of comfort. Bronny James is set to make his debut and play alongside his father for the Lakers while Bryce is still in high school, playing for the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers. The new chapters in their life will surely bring changes to the James family dynamic, but Savannah will champion on, as she still has her daughter Zhuri to take care of.
