PENTA reported that Curry enjoys engaging in sports beyond basketball, as he shared “Other sports I like playing besides basketball are… golf and beach volleyball, especially in the summer. My mom, sister, and my aunt all play, so I join them. My daughter recently started playing. But I also played in middle school, so there is a bit of history there.”

Curry’s love for golf is not a new phenomenon. And volleyball is not a surprise either. His mother Sonya and sister Sydel Curry have both played the game in college. With his daughter joining in, it seems like a tradition of sorts, being passed down by the family.

Curry’s swirl of success in Golf, Bourbon, and Family Bonds

While there are accolades amidst the basketball court and a swish in the net, Curry’s career path into sports goes beyond the dribble. Another notable venture is his involvement with the ACC Golf Cup, which highlights his versatile sporting interests. Just like how he played basketball, Curry brings a competitive mindset to the golf field. Recently, Curry added another product to the wide variety he has by introducing Gentleman’s Cut Bourbon.

This venture is no longer merely a business move; it also highlights his obsession with the bitter nectars. Bourbon is a connoisseur to Curry who cherishes the oak, vanilla caramel, and dark cherry notes in the bourbon that echoes his fine performances in his athletics pursuits.
