You know what’s not a secret? LeBron James‘ unwavering love for the NFL. But there’s another open secret out there about the almost 40-year-old legend: his love for gaming. Once, a fan called him ‘LeGamer’ on X, and well, it’s true. I can’t say that the fan was deceiving because now and then, the Lakers giant keeps showing the world that he’s all about video games.
But, then, combine the NFL and gaming, pack it into a single game and you’ll get Madden. Bron’s current obsession and he’s championing this as well. Was the NBA not enough to rule in? Surely not. The King is simply expanding his empire! However, James Sr.’s $2.8 million Madden escape, has helped Dalton Knecht learn more about Bron.
As a rookie, Knecht has a lot to learn from his Los Angeles Lakers superstar teammate. Well, the 4x MVP is surely giving him tips and tricks to navigate through the NBA waters, but now things are going beyond the basketball arena and into the gaming zone. According to the 23-year-old rookie, LeBron James pays a lot of attention to the NFL. “How much he loves to play Madden. He always talks about it,” Knecht said. “I didn’t really know it was that much. He watches it on the plane and stuff. He watches film just like it’s basketball. It’s crazy.”
