What hit the headlines as a blockbuster deal is nowhere to be seen on the hardwood yet. The Big 3, and the hype around the unbeatable Suns, is all stale and pale since two of the star players are down with injuries. Although Frayson Allen and Eric Gordon, along with Kevin Durant, have helped to keep the team afloat against the Warriors and Jazz, the team needs them.

Although there were speculations about Bradley Beal and Devin Booker returning to the court shortly, it seems like the fans still have to wait. Bradley is down with a stiff back and will be out too. In short, it’s tough for the Phoenix Suns to handle the ball-handling skills of Victor Wembanyama and Devin Vassell.?

After registering a spectacular tally of 39 points by the end of the fourth quarter against the Warriors, Booker took a hit. The left ankle sprain was not a regular affair for the shooting guard of the Phoenix Suns. Not only that, this will be the third game in a row that Booker will be out of. Although the team is sustaining the play without their two best men, the loss against the Lakers did showcase some faults in the gameplay. When asked about his return, Frank Vogel made a statement that none of the fans liked.

He said, ?Getting closer, not there yet. Definitely making progress? Those guys are really chomping at the bit and as soon as they get cleared medically and feeling right with what?s ailing them, they will be out there.? This statement is worrisome for the franchise, as the Suns are hosting the game tonight.

With that in mind, Booker must make a quick recovery, for his erratic appearance in this preseason was also a matter of concern for the team.

Josh Okogie is among the starting five tonight for the Suns. Along with him, Kevin Durant, Allen, Gordon, and Nurkic are there to lead the first quarter tonight. The footprint center must be electrified with the Suns leading the quarter by leaps and bounds. With 4 minutes remaining, Phoenix is standing at 16 and SAS at 7. It seems like the injured horses can take their time to recover.

Booker needs to be back on his feet before they hit the newly formed 76ers in an early Saturday matinee contest. This will be a much-awaited face-off, as the 76ers will be accustomed to the new roster by then.
