Jaylen Brown has made it clear, he’s having an amazing summer. Apart from relishing the joys of a championship, the Finals MVP has also spread his wings. Last week, he released his debut song, ironically named ‘Just Do It’. The song, crafted alongside Asap Ferg, didn’t take any aim at Nike despite their Olympic feud. The tune took a completely different route. But Brown hasn’t forgiven them, nor those who overlooked him during the summer.
Continuing his promotions for the song, the 27-year-old asked his 4 million followers to mention a “hater” in the comments. Aside from raging support, several fans mentioned Nike. In response to one of the comments, Brown commented, “facts”, confirming his resentment toward the brand. But they weren’t the only ones on his agenda.

Some comments naturally mentioned the Director of Team USA, Grant Hill. Notably, Brown didn’t appreciate the former Magic forward calling him a “conspiracy theorist“. Hence, when one of the comments mentioned his name, the Celtics ace liked the comment. To be fair though, he has done so for the majority of the comments under his post.
Going off-topic, some fans had a request for Jaylen Brown himself. It was for him to stop making any further songs with one user going as far as saying, “So bad I think Adam Silver could rap better”. The dynamic forward saw the funny side of things, simply saying, “Imagine lol”. However, when it comes to next season, Brown isn’t joking around.

Jaylen Brown is after revenge
Following his non-selection during the Paris Olympics, Jaylen Brown didn’t hide his feelings. He ravaged Nike and even went after Grant Hill. But while he was upset, the events also served as his fuel for next season. Vengeance is what Brown is after which he confirmed when he responded to a comment saying “I want blood”.
The preparations for it began prior to the release of his song. Instead of posting vacation images, the Celtics star was deep in the pool, and in the basketball gym to hone his conditioning and skills. There seemed to be no space to rest after his championship conquest. He went right back to work.

Kevin Garnett, a former champion with the Boston Celtics was quick to notice just what it was. It was a desire to hit back at his summer downfalls. “Lord… @FCHWPO is under water with a dumbbell in one hand and a basketball in the other. S**t might be over for everybody,” he wrote in his tweet.
As it seems, the three-time All-Star is going to be on a hunt.
