Both the Nuggets and Nets are facing off each other after victories in their previous matchups. Brooklyn especially is coming off a dominant win against none other than the Milwaukee Bucks. And there is no doubt that they are going to use that confidence boost as they play host to Nikola Jokic & Co.
Scheduled to commence at 7:30 PM ET at Barclays Center, the ‘Mile High City’ is favored to have the upper hand against a stumbling Brooklyn. The Nets’ injury report doesn’t do them any favors while the Nuggets are at complete strength.
Except for DaRon Homes II, who remains sidelined after tearing his right Achilles tendon in his Summer League debut, Denver does not have anyone on the injury list. But the ‘Big Apple’ has at least a part of it bitten as a few key names continue with the ‘Out’ tag. And unsurprisingly, Ben Simmons is on the report.

According to Brian Lewis of the New York Post, “Simmons has been ruled out of Tuesday’s game against the Nuggets due to lower back management.” The other two names are Bojan Bogdanovic, who’s out with a foot injury, and Trendon Watford, with a hamstring injury, is also listed as ‘Out,’ per Erik Slater of Clutch Points.
Furthermore, Day’Ron Sharpe is also out for six weeks due to a left hamstring strain, Brett Siegel of Clutch Points reported. While the Nets managed to pull off a win against the Bucks, facing the Nuggets presents a different challenge. Denver lacks the tense atmosphere that Milwaukee is currently dealing with, which has helped them maintain strong team chemistry. Despite some early-season bumps, the Nuggets appear better positioned and likely to come out on top against Brooklyn.
That said, let’s take a look at Denver’s depth chart.
