LeBron James‘ offseason decision speculations have filled up the entire NBA community, guessing the future of the Lakers forward. James can be an unrestricted free agent this summer if he chooses to opt out of the current contract. Another way for the former NBA champion is to stay at the Lakers for another year. It only seems probable if LeBron’s son, Bronny James, gets the chance to play with his father in purple and gold jerseys. But NBA analyst Shannon Sharpe and Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson think King James will opt in this summer.

While discussing the current NBA scenario at their YouTube podcast ‘NightCap,’ Chad, seemingly in confusion, confessed that he was not sure “if LeBron is going to be there[Lakers].” However, Shannon Sharpe had a different opinion as he cast light on a backhand hint from King James. Pointing out toward the subtle asset, the NBA analyst stated, “Who builds a $100 million house and then leave?” Interestingly, Sharpe was referencing here the compound that LeBron James is reportedly building in Los Angeles worth $100 million.

Even after all the expensive assets, Sharpe’s theory seems in contrast to LeBron’s agent’s statement. His fellow, Chad Johnson, also objected to Sharpe’s remark that for someone of the status of LeBron James with “that kind of money,” $100 million is “nothing.” It also seems relevant as LeBron has multiple sources of earnings apart from basketball and endorsements. He does advertisement, acting, and much more. Moreover, the latest testament to LeBron’s stay at the Lakers has come from Rich Paul.

Rich Paul makes a bold confirmation before LeBron James’ official announcement!

During his appearance on the TNT show ‘Legion Hoops,’ LeBron’s agent, Rich Paul, mistakenly made a big revelation for the NBA fanatics. “LeBron’s a free agent. I gotta focus on his business … and let the Lakers hire who they want to hire, “ Paul revealed on the TNT alternate broadcast show. This sudden expose from Paul even surprised the panel members on the show. Excited by the confession from Paul, Chrish Haynes immediately asked if that meant LeBron would opt in.

However, Paul realized what he said during the live show. He kept his calm and replied to Haynes, “Chris, you know I don’t do my business over the air, man…I don’t know what he’s gonna do, ” Paul handled the situation to avoid any chaos on the show. Yet it was enough for the NBA community to finally put a stamp on LeBron’s stay at the Lakers. However, it seemed like a pre-decided decision.

LeBron has a history of making adjustments in the old team in the name of becoming a free agent. He also claims that he has no part in the team tweaks. But it is already there. After the chances and going through several teams, King James might eventually re-sign with the Lakers and extend his contract. But this announcement is yet to come from the Lakers front office. Till then, check out what Shaq’s ex-agent, Leonard Armato, had to say about the marketing genius through this video.
