“That’s Giannis Wembanyama”: 12 YO 6’9 Greek Freak’s Doppelgänger Shocks the NBA World With Insane Basketball Skills

Basketball fans have caught a 12-year-old protege who is going viral for his insane basketball moves. Standing at 6’9″ this kid looks like a possible mix of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Victor Wembanyama. There are so many uncanny similarities that no one can help but notice. 

The quickly spreading viral video has caught the attention of many and it is a déjà vu moment to witness Greek Freak’s dominance and Wemby’s sheer arm-stretch hoops in one person. His mobility, ball-handling, size, and skill are so-coordinated that many fans are calling him a potential prospect. 

The next big thing in basketball

Twelve-year-old Mohamed Dabone could be a problem for many even before he goes pro. He is gifted more than his peers with his raw instincts. He has also shown flashes of brilliance with his shooting abilities. As seen in the video, he is playing for Barcelona Basketball and he is tearing his opponents apart. 

The viral highlights are from a U15 FLL Tournament where Dabone was named the MVP after leading Barcelona in a win against Real Madrid. Dabone alone had 25 points, 14 rebounds, and 6 blocks in a 61-59 points win.

The viral reel was flooded with fan comments who couldn’t believe what they were was real. One fan commented, “That’s Giannis Wembanyama”. Another fan noted, “No way this guy 12. They be having fake birth certificates”. As per reports, 2011 is his birth year and his graduation class would be 2031 to be eligible for draft. A fan noted another similarity, and he compared him to “Baby Kevin Durant”.

There was one fan who started with this conspiracy theory, he wrote, “Like we say people are built in labs as a terms of phrase when they are athletic but this guy might actually have been genetically coded or sum”
