Paul George and Kawhi Leonard's Vegas bond—Will this translate to a stronger season for the Clippers?

The man of the hour, Paul George, set off a gala night in Las Vegas. Over the last few weeks, the 9x NBA All-Star took over the NBA headlines after his latest trade to the Philadelphia 76ers. Since he broke a 5-year-long partnership with Kawhi Leonard at the LA Clippers, everyone expected the stars to have developed a rift. But they squashed all those rumors with their latest outing in Vegas. Amid this surprise, PG further amped up the temperatures with a wholesome message for his wife, Daniela Rajic.

PG-13 took to his Instagram handle and dropped a picture of him locking lips with his wife under a firework in their wedding outfits. He didn’t stop at that, as he also penned a romantic note on account of their anniversary. The note read, “Cheers to another year my love @danielarajic happy anniversary 🥰💕! I got a lifetime of loving you ♾️❤️”.

In response, Daniela Rajic also shared a picture from their wedding, with the caption, “Happy anniversary @ygtrece marrying you was the best day of my life and I pray we look at each other like this forever.”

Last week, Kawhi Leonard was subject to criticism from social media trolls. After practicing alongside the NBA superstars for the Paris Olympics, he pulled himself out of the roster at the last moment. The Klaw, who already has a reputation for not showing up in playoffs with injuries, missed out on a major career opportunity, again. And, in return, the online world left no crumbs. The fact that the Clippers star took a group photo with the entire roster before exiting the team left the community in utter disbelief.

On the other hand, Leonard had another setback as Paul George decided to part ways with the Clippers. An update revealed that the LA side couldn’t satisfy the star forward with their trade extension offer.

PG said, “Kawhi took less. I was like, ‘If (Kawhi) going to take less, I’m not going to say I want more than (Kawhi).’ It’s not about me being paid more than him. I’mma take what he got. ‘Y’all give him that, give me that.’ They didn’t want to do that.”

Following that, several rumors claimed that the NBA duo’s relationship took a hit. It further blew up when Leonard said, “It’s no surprise,” when asked about the trade. However, they both canceled the critics and their comments with their link up in Sin City.
