NBA 2K21 Launches MyTeam Season 5 – Age of Heroes

Today 2K announced MyTeam Season 5: Age of Heroes for NBA 2k21. The theme of this season is Modern Age vs Golden Age. Therefore, players can choose from the like of Zion Williamson to Michael Jordan. Players can play these legendary match-ups and earn multiple rewards and all-new hero themed cards.

In addition to this, there is a special treat for the PlayStation 5 users. There are some exclusive challenges available for PS5, and it will have its own leaderboard.

“These challenges are updated every Season and Season 5 is bringing an iconic one featuring legends like T-Mac and Vinsanity. Take on the 2000 Raptors with your MyTeam and throwdown at least 10 dunks to earn your spot on the PS5 leaderboard! But it doesn’t stop there… the more dunks you earn against the 2000 Raptors the higher up the leaderboard you go! Completing the challenge earns you a Slasher Reward Pack which contains a shoe and a badge to improve your lineup’s slashing abilities.”

NBA 2k21 has a signature Michael Jordan challenge

2k believes that every legend deserves an individual challenge. This time it is none other than Michael Jordan, and players can complete the challenges to unlock classic ornaments for their inventory. Furthermore, players can redeem a MJ MyTeam card for free.

Players need to grind the game to earn XP and progress through the Seasonal levels. They can unlock “All-Star Dunk Champion Hamidou Diallo, 3PT king Joe Harris, 6x All-Star Amar’e Stoudemire and more.”

On reaching level 40, progressing through MyTeam Season 5, you will unlock The Galaxy Opal Admiral – David Robinson. The Exchange has brand new players like Larry Legend and Khris Middleton, that players need to utilize while forming their teams.
