Some time ago, both Richard Petty and his son Kyle Petty met with wrestling legend Hulk Hogan. There have been a few times when NASCAR and wrestling have had crossovers.

During the mid-1990s, he drove a car sponsored by the wrestling group, New World Order (NWO). That was when the Petty father-son duo met with Hogan. In fact, Hogan practically dwarfed ‘The King’.

“Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash and all those guys were great. If you ever saw those backstage segments with me and the NWO you can barely see me because I’m so small compared to those guys.”

“That was the easiest job I ever had in my life. Those guys worked so hard and I just had to sit there with them.”

Recently, Kyle opened up on his newly released book. Titled, ‘Swerve or Die’, it depicts the Petty family’s story as one of racing’s most legendary families. Suffice to say, the family has a rich NASCAR background, right from Lee Petty to his son Richard Petty who later became ‘The King’.

Finally, it spoke about Kyle Petty and his foray into the racing arena. There was also a brief mention of Kyle’s son, Adam Petty, and his brief NASCAR stint. Tragically, 19-year-old Adam lost his life in an accident during a practice session at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
