Former NASCAR and current IndyCar driver, Jimmie Johnson seems to be enjoying his off-season. Along with spending some time with his family, a source of Johnson’s enjoyment could be the ongoing feud between Jake Paul and Dana White.

That’s right. The seven-time champion who has seen more than his share of drama in his NASCAR career looks to be very much entertained by the battle of words between the two MMA figures.

Johnson posted a tweet in which he wrote, This @danawhite & @jakepaul banter is entertaining.”

What is the banter between Dana White and Jake Paul?

A few days ago, UFC President Dana White had issued a challenge to 24-year-old Jake Paul. The challenge was for Paul to randomly get tested for performance-enhancing drugs in the next two years in exchange for White getting tested for narcotics for the next decade.

This in turn led Jake Paul to reply with a new deal that suggested he will “immediately retire” from boxing and fight Jorge Masvidal along with a list of terms.

So White posted a video in which he said a lot of things, including this – “That thing that you came out with today, nobody on Earth thinks that you really wrote that. You’re too stupid.”

Jake Paul then fired back with his own reply on another video, this time taking things to the next level. “I’m trying to change the sport forever and you are one of the most selfish, capitalistic motherf*ckers that I’ve ever seen,” Paul said.

A big season awaits Jimmie Johnson

While Jimmie Johnson enjoys the ongoing banter, he will have most of his focus on the coming season. The former Hendrick driver announced to be going full-time in the IndyCar in 2022, which means he would also run in the prestigious Indy 500.

“I can’t wait to be part of the Indianapolis 500, it’s a childhood dream come true.”
