Later this year, the NASCAR Cup Series will head to the Charlotte Roval for the last of the Round of 12 eliminations. In the buildup to the race, Alex Bowman and Charlotte FC player Christian Fuchs teamed up to unveil a new livery for the #48 car. To be perfectly honest, it was a stunning-looking livery.

In a small video, Bowman and Fuchs had a look at the car for the first time, and they were stunned. The #48 Chevrolet features a primary paint scheme of light purple and a navy blue decal on the rear end. Additionally, there is a hashtag next to the number 48, saying ‘For The Crown’ and also features the Charlotte FC logo on the livery.

In all, the Austrian footballer loved the ‘sick’ design. It will get even better, though, when the car takes to the track for the first time at the Charlotte Roval. Even Alex Bowman confessed that he was a little bit excited to drive this stunning-looking car.

For the moment, gorgeous-looking car aside, Bowman needs to pick up the pace. He is sitting in 11th place in the Playoff standings, placing him in a vulnerable spot. On the bright side, he still has two races to try to either grab a win or move up the order.

The #48 driver has not won at Talladega yet, though he does have a couple of Top 10 finishes and a best finish of second. Meanwhile, at Charlotte, he has a best finish of second once again, and a couple of Top 5 and Top 10 finishes.

To make matters worse for Hendrick Motorsports, teammate William Byron is in a similar position. If all remains like this after Talladega and the Charlotte Roval, they could be eliminated, along with Christopher Bell and Kevin Harvick. At the end of the race, only a win or a high finishing position could see Alex Bowman escape elimination.
